THE DOGS LIVE NEW YEAR'S EVE with THE ZEROS
photos (C) 2010 Heather Harris (hey, a new decade to copyright!)
A terrific way to ring in the new year: The Dogs co-billed with The Zeros at the Redwood, downtown L.A. last night for New Year's Eve. Anyone local here who wants to see monster players like The Dogs in action along with the always likable and popular Zeros, these two bands, both veterans of the 1970's L.A. punk scene comprised of original members, are appearing at the same venue tonight Jan. 1 as well.
Now, off to see the Scripps-Miramar Saddlebred horses in the Rose Parade on tv, survivors of the horrendous San Diego wildfires a few years ago. As a fire-evacuated horse-owner myself this last year, I empathize.

Looks like a great show! Did Julie go too? Mary beautiful as always! and Tony too! Happy New Year to Loren and all the DoGs!
It was a great show. I'll convey your wishes to the band tonight: I'm going back. Due to the smallness of the club, I confined myself to one area to shoot photos. Tonight is supposed to be even more crowded according to the guest list dispersion, so I doubt if I'll see anyone.
Does Julie want more of the shots when I finish converting the Raw files for the Dogs' blog?
No, Julie did not go... She's a wimp. Went out w/Aidan on NYE and stayed home w/the boys the second night. I bet Loren would love to post some of these FABULOUS shots on the Dogs Blog.
Julie, I don't have your email so I'll send these pics to Loren when I'm done converting the Raw files, and notify you on FB. I just finished converting the Little Caesar ones so now I'm back on my personal schedule
For the second night, due to confinement to one battlement against wildly moshing punker crowd, I got less wondrous photos overall but one TERRIFIC one of Loren mid-flight with guitar...
