Bigtime recommend. VERY imaginative director Joon-Ho Bong mixes horror, humor, unexpected twists and unsentimental family solidarity. It reminded me of the first Robocop movie insofar as it always surprised one each time it avoided its genre's stereotypes, there was a great deal of modern life humor and satire, and the low-to-medium cost production was always superb.
Fascinating real-life Korean industrial locations too: only CGI is the monster...
We watched the English-dubbed option, and its voice-over artists were spot on, never conflicting with anything onscreen, and incorporating amusing slang.
