James Williamson of Iggy and The Stooges proved a dapper model indeed in our shoot for Blackstar Amplifiers. This photo should be appearing on ads in Guitar Player magazine and assorted promo centered around the NAMM show mid-January in Los Angeles, which the celebrated Stooges' guitarist will attend.
That is the best photo of Williamson I've seen since he came out of "retirement". Maybe the best of all, actually. (Those 8 inch silver platform boots never did it for me!)
I'd like to try out a Blackstar... Always looking for better gear.
Deniz, thanks for the compliment from someone in the arena. Send me your email (links on my website, http://www.heatherharris.net )and I'll put you in touch with Loren Molinare, friendly Blackstar rep and kickass guitarist of the equally legendary The Dogs.
P.S. I think James is easy to shoot, he looks great. Don't know why anyone else would drop the ball.
Gorgeous shot HH, magical what you do with that camera! Twister too!
